TAROT AND ORACLE READINGS

Tarot is a system of divination that uses a deck of cards, typically consisting of 78 cards, to gain insights, guidance, and understanding about various aspects of life. The deck is divided into two main parts:

Major Arcana: This set includes 22 cards that represent significant life events, spiritual lessons, and archetypal themes. Each card, such as “The Fool” or “The Magician,” carries symbolic meanings and deep insights.

Minor Arcana: This set consists of 56 cards divided into four suits (typically Cups, Pentacles, Swords, and Wands). Each suit represents different areas of life and experiences. The Minor Arcana cards are further divided into numbered cards and court cards (Page, Knight, Queen, King), each offering nuanced interpretations.

In a tarot reading, the cards are drawn and interpreted in various spreads or layouts, providing a framework for exploring questions, issues, or situations. The imagery and symbolism on the cards serve as tools for introspection, reflection, and gaining new perspectives. While tarot is often used for personal insight and guidance, it is not a predictive tool in a literal sense but rather a way to tap into intuitive wisdom and explore potential outcomes based on current circumstances.

Oracle card readings are a form of divination similar to tarot but typically involve a deck of cards with varied themes and designs. Oracle decks come in many different styles and with varying numbers of cards, each deck designed by a different creator. It is a less formal way of reading the energy of a situation; however, is just as effective and informative as tarot.
